The Actor's restorative
A sanctuary for actors and performing artists to regulate the nervous system, release emotional residue from roles, and return to the stage grounded, open + fully expressed.
Located in East Haddam, CT
a short walk from the
Goodspeed Opera House
Acting asks performers to access deep emotional states, physical presence, and creative vulnerability, often night after night through rehearsals and performance runs.
Over time, the body and nervous system can begin to carry the intensity of the work. For many actors, their body is their instrument, and that instrument needs space to reset.
Many actors need a place outside the rehearsal room and stage where they can release what they’ve been holding and return to themselves.
When that release happens, something shifts.
Actors often return to the stage more grounded, instinctive, and fully in their power. This is the space where a performance can truly come alive.
Between rehearsal and curtain
Actors + Performers often come in:
before a performance to center and arrive fully in the work
after emotionally demanding rehearsals or shows
to release what the body has been holding from the work
during long rehearsal weeks when the system feels taxed
to deepen their connection to a role and trust their instincts
When theres untapped potential in a performance + they are ready to bring it fully to life

“Until I met Jaclyn, I had never experienced power that felt so rooted in love and so fully lived in the body. Even a single session, sometimes even a single minute in her presence, can dissolve years of confusion, concern, or pain. In just six months, she supported my physical body, my motherhood journey, my business, the consciousness of my film, and the future of my education nonprofit. She did not flinch at the scope of my purpose. She engaged. She merged. She cleared. She rallied. She cared.
She masterfully blends the practical with the unseen, yet always felt, and in my mind is already a leading force for lasting change at the intersection of medicine, wellness, earth wisdom, and community. Belief makes things real.
And Jaclyn Shea, among many other things, teaches you to believe in yourself again.
More. And more. And more. Until you become inevitable.”
